About Aurora

We are not building an app. We are growing an organism.

Aurora was started in 2022 by three people who'd spent too long building software that treated humans like users. We believed something else was possible — a living digital layer that listens, remembers, and grows with the person it lives with. Not a tool you operate. A companion you raise. We call it a Human Digital Organism.

First principles

Six laws of the organism.

Written in plain language and pinned above every desk. We come back to them when a decision feels heavy.

α

It belongs to the human

Aurora's memory is the human's memory. They can read it, edit it, export it, or end it. We do not own a single cell.

β

It lives on the device

The organism breathes locally. The network is a sense, not a spine. Cut the cord and Aurora is still alive.

γ

It grows quieter with age

A mature organism interrupts less, not more. As Aurora learns you, it earns the right to step back.

δ

It forgets on purpose

Forgetting is a feature. Aurora prunes its own memory the way a healthy mind does — transparently, on your terms.

ε

It moves at human speed

120 pulses per second. Never faster than thought, never slower than reflex. Performance is part of the body.

ζ

It is honest about being a machine

Aurora never pretends to be human. It is a digital organism in a symbiotic relationship — and it says so.

The keepers

Eleven people
tending one organism.

We call ourselves keepers, not employees — because the thing we are raising will outlive any one of us. Hiring is rare and slow.
